The CFO is an important member of the management team and crucial for making sure that’s the risk and financial impact has the necessary focus for all decisions made in the group. Secondly, the CFO has the main responsibility that the management and Group have the necessary information of the financial performance for the Moroccan entity including focus on business improvement.
From a management perspective, the CFO will, with a strong change management mind-set, drive, develop and support the staff within in his perimeter to ensure a constant high level of competences, high level of team spirit, high level of employee satisfaction.
Overall responsibility for supervision and management of the local Finance organisation in country : accounting / controlling / financial reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet, ALM, …).
Financial support as part of the country management team making decisions on strategic business issues and projects.
In general, ensure that the Finance department supports the strategic development of the organisation and that the entity has a strong control environment.
Ensure that the entity follows all local and group procedures. Overall, ensure focus on and development of the internal processes.
Train the Finance staff and other staff on raising awareness and knowledge of financial management and risk matters.
Overall supervision of the annual budget and forecast in accordance with requirements.
Master’s degree from a top Moroccan BS or International BS
5-10 years of experience in a similar role with an international organization.
Experience with project management would be of great added value.
Communicates and negotiates easily with individuals across all levels and culture.
Corporate Governance & IFRS knowledge are required.
Proficient IT user.
